Sutherland Heart Clinic is seeking a dedicated Receptionist Bookings Officer to join our administration team on a part time basis 3 days per week located in Caringbah, NSW ****.
As Receptionist Bookings Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and a vital member of our administrative operations.
Your role will ensure theatre bookings are managed efficiently, and patients receive exceptional service from the moment they interact with us.
This position is fundamental to delivering a positive patient experience and supporting our Cardiologists and clinical operations.Key responsibilitiesGreeting patients in a warm and professional manner upon arrivalManaging patients surgical bookings for multiple doctorsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and administrative documentationProcessing patient registration and intake informationHandling patient inquiries regarding preadmission, fasting times,



and general clinic informationManaging the reception desk and maintaining a clean and welcoming environmentProviding accurate Informed Financial Consents and managing basic financial transactions in accordance with clinic proceduresSupporting the clinical and administrative team with general office duties as requiredWhat we're looking forProven experience working in a medical or healthcare reception environmentExcellent organisational with the ability to prioritise multiple tasksAttention to detail in managing administrative tasks and patient recordStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a skilled and empathetic approachProficiency in using medical booking systems and general computer applicationsA patient-focused attitude with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressureReliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to attendanceDiscretion and the ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentialityAbout usSutherland Heart Clinic is a dedicated Cardiac Hospital committed to providing exceptional cardiac care and services to our community.
