We are looking for a reliable, hands-on and proactive Maintenance Manager to join our small team and help keep our property looking and functioning at its very best.This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the little things and enjoys working independently in a beautiful hospitality environment.The RoleWe are looking for someone to oversee the general maintenance and upkeep of our guesthouse, ensuring everything is well maintained, presented and working as it should for our guests.The role is approximately 4 days per week, 10am–1pm, with some flexibility around days and hours where required.Your responsibilities will include:General property maintenance and repairsRegular checks of guest rooms, bathrooms, outdoor areas and common spacesIdentifying and addressing maintenance issues before they become problemsBasic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general handyman tasksPool and outdoor area maintenanceCaring for and maintaining indoor and outdoor plants, including watering,



pruning and general plant careGarden and property upkeep as requiredLooking after bikes and guesthouse equipmentLiaising with tradespeople when specialist work is requiredManaging maintenance supplies and keeping the maintenance area organisedResponding to any urgent maintenance issues that ariseHelping maintain the high standard of presentation that 28 Degrees is known forAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is:Experienced in property maintenance, handyman work or a similar rolePractical, capable and confident working independentlyReliable, punctual and well organisedA great problem solver who doesn't need to be told what needs doingDetail-oriented and takes genuine pride in their workConfident and knowledgeable when it comes to plant and garden careComfortable working around guests in a boutique hospitality environmentFriendly, approachable and professionalIdeally experienced with pools, gardens and general property upkeepA trade qualification or relevant experience would be highly regarded, but we are equally interested in someone with excellent practical skills and a strong work ethic.Why work with us?
