We are currently seeking a Maintenance Person who embodies a "get-up-and-go" attitude and excels in physical roles.
The ideal candidate will have:A proactive approach to maintenance tasksPrior experience in property maintenance and familiarity with preventative maintenance programsEffective communication skills essential for interacting with stakeholders at all levelsProficiency with hand and power toolsValid driver's licenseA readiness to take on challenges and ensure tasks are completed safely and to high standardsABOUT THE ROLEThe Maintenance Person position is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of CGQ properties and their surroundings.
This role is critical in promoting a positive CGQ culture and ensuring the safety and well-being of our tenants.Key selection criteria1.
Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques, products and applications2.
Ability to operate power tools and equipment3.
Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work4.
Ability to contribute to maintenance procedures and refining maintenance outcomes5.
Ability to co-ordinate with other team members and work collaboratively6.
Ability to identify and report on issues7.
Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety relating to cleaning and maintenance issues8.
Ability to undertake general maintenance tasks9.
Willingness to undergo a criminal history check10.
Drivers licence
