NQ Sheetmetal Pty Ltd is looking to employ a full-time Fabrication Supervisor to join our team.We are seeking an experienced, motivated and hands-on Fabrication Supervisor to oversee our sheet metal fabrication operations and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has strong fabrication experience and leadership skills, and who enjoys working as part of a team while taking ownership of production and quality.About the RoleThe successful applicant will be responsible for:Supervising and coordinating day-to-day fabrication activitiesAllocating work and supporting fabrication staff to meet production requirementsEnsuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standardReading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabrication templates and processesOperating and overseeing the safe use of fabrication equipment including Brake Press, Pan Brake, Guillotine, Slitter and FolderMonitoring quality control and ensuring finished products meet specificationsProviding guidance, training and support to fabrication team members and apprenticesIdentifying and resolving fabrication and production issuesAssisting with planning, scheduling and prioritising jobs Maintaining a clean,



organised and safe workshop Ensuring workplace health and safety procedures are followed at all timesAbout YouThe successful applicant will have:Previous experience in a sheet metal or light fabrication environmentStrong knowledge of fabrication processes and workshop practicesAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and fabrication templatesExperience operating sheet metal fabrication machineryStrong leadership and communication skillsA strong work ethic and be self-motivatedAbility to manage time effectively and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a larger teamA commitment to quality, safety and attention to detailCurrent Drivers' LicenceWelding experience in MIG and TIG (Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Mild Steel) will be highly regardedRelevant Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Light Fabrication) or equivalent experience will be highly regardedWhat We OfferAt NQ Sheetmetal Pty Ltd, we offer a excellent team environment and the opportunity to take ownership of a crucial part of our supply to clients.You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of sheet metal and fabrication projects while leading and developing a skilled workshop team.
