In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy haulage vehicles, ensuring the timely delivery of freight and equipment across the region.What you'll be doingSafely operate heavy haulage vehicles, including prime movers, semi-trailers, low loaders and specialist transportation equipmentPlan and execute transportation routes, taking into account traffic conditions, weight restrictions and other factors to ensure on‐time deliveriesPerform pre‐trip and post‐trip inspections, maintaining detailed logs and reporting any issues or concernsLoad and unload freight and equipment, utilizing lifting equipment as requiredAdhere to all relevant transport regulations, safety procedures and environmental policiesProvide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholdersSupport the broader operations of the business as neededWhat we're looking forExtensive experience (3+ years) operating heavy haulage vehicles, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detailRelevant licences and certifications, including a Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence or Multi Combination (MC) driver's licenceLoad Restraint certification is favourable for this position.Australian citizenship is required for this positionExcellent driving skills,
