schedules and designsDelivering plans and schedules to operational personnelMonitoring progress against plan and identifying opportunities for improvementSupporting mine design and scheduling activitiesPlanning, optimising and monitoring Drill & Blast activitiesBuilding solid working relationships across mining, operations and technical teamsContributing to continuous improvement and operational optimisationEnsuring engineering activities align with safety, quality and production requirementsWhat You'll BringTo be successful in this role, you'll have:Bachelor of Engineering – Mining or CivilPrevious experience working as a Mining Engineer in open-cut miningStrong understanding of mine planning, scheduling and designExperience working closely with mining operationsUnderstanding of Drill & Blast planning and optimisationStrong analytical, planning and problem-solving skillsThe ability to communicate technical information clearly to operational teamsA practical, solutions-focused approach to mine planningAbout MacKellarWith more than 50 years of experience, MacKellar is an established leader in the mining and civil earthmoving industries.Our people are at the heart of what we do.
