Culture & Organisational Development LeadPermanent opportunity | $129,547 base + super | RDO arrangementStep into a lead-level organisational development role with genuine organisation-wide impactWe are seeking an experienced organisational development professional ready to take the next step into a senior lead role within a complex and purpose‐led Victorian State Government organisation.This opportunity would suit an established OD Consultant, Senior OD Advisor, Leadership Development Specialist or Change and Capability skilled who is already operating with autonomy and is ready to take ownership of broader culture, leadership and workforce capability initiatives.You will work closely with senior leaders to deliver practical, evidence‐based programs that strengthen leadership capability, employee engagement, psychological safety and organisational culture.The opportunityReporting to the Head of Culture, Communications and Organisational Development, you will lead a broad portfolio of culture and organisational development initiatives.You will be responsible for:Designing and delivering leadership and capability development programsLeading culture, engagement and organisational change initiativesFacilitating workshops for leaders, teams and broader employee groupsSupporting engagement surveys, action planning and continuous feedbackDeveloping behavioural capability frameworks and practical development pathwaysCoaching leaders through change and organisational improvementSupporting diversity, equity, inclusion and wellbeing initiativesManaging external providers delivering leadership, wellbeing or development programsProviding advice on team effectiveness, organisational design and workforce capabilityLeading and developing a small teamA number of programs are already established, providing an excellent foundation for someone who can assess what is working,



identify opportunities and strengthen the organisation's overall OD offering.About youYou do not necessarily need to have held a formal Head of or senior leadership title.
More important is your depth of organisational development experience and your readiness to step into a role with greater ownership and visibility.You are likely to bring:Demonstrated experience in organisational development, leadership development, culture, capability or changeExperience designing and facilitating workshops and development programsStrong stakeholder management and influencing skillsThe confidence to work directly with senior leaders and executivesA practical understanding of organisational behaviour, culture and team dynamicsExperience supporting engagement, capability or cultural change initiativesStrong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesA collaborative, resilient and adaptable working styleAn interest in working within a complex, purpose‐led and highly regulated environmentExperience within state government, health, mental health, justice, corrections, community services or another complex organisation would be valuable, but is not essential.Qualifications in organisational psychology, leadership, human resources, organisational development or change management will be highly regarded.Why consider this opportunity?
