A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex brownfield works in and around operational transport assets with stringent quality and compliance requirements.
The head contractor is seeking a Quality Manager to own quality assurance and compliance for the project.

and acceptance criteriaConduct quality audits and witness critical inspections and testingManage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action follow-upMaintain traceability records for materials, testing and completion evidenceSupport completion dossier compilation and handover validationWork with client assurance teams and independent verifiers on quality mattersMonitor quality performance metrics and report to project leadershipMentor project team on quality requirements and expectationsSupport protected work practices and quality-related risk managementWhat We're Looking ForDegree or diploma in engineering, construction, quality management or related discipline10+ years' quality or engineering experience with management responsibilityExperience on infrastructure projects of $100m+Rail, brownfield, stations or complex multidisciplinary construction backgroundDemonstrated ownership of ISO ****-based systems, auditing, ITPs and traceabilityExperience with non-conformance management and completion dossiersDealings with client assurance teams and independent verifiers2+ years' average tenure per employer with at least one quality management role held for 3+ yearsCurrent construction induction card and ability to access operational areasStrong attention to detail and compliance focus
