About the roleWe're seeking a Finance & Assurance Officer to support the delivery of financial analysis, reporting, and assurance activities across recovery and reconstruction programs within the NSW Reconstruction Authority.About YouYou are an adaptable finance and grants professional with a solid foundation in financial administration and an understanding of grants processes.
You work well in structured, high-volume environments and are comfortable supporting compliance requirements while contributing to effective day-to-day delivery of programs.What we're looking forExperience in financial and grant reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation, including aligning expenditure to funding agreements and financial systemsStrong analytical capability to assess financial risk, grant eligibility, and assurance outcomes, and to interpret complex data setsExperience supporting grants or program funding, including tracking expenditure, payments, and multiple funding sourcesAbility to investigate variances, identify risks or issues, and provide clear insights to support decision-makingExperience working collaboratively with program and project teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial reportingA continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to help streamline processes,
improve data quality, and support efficient reporting and payment workflowsEssential RequirementsMust be a current temporary or ongoing NSW Public Sector employee.
