We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join a growing manufacturing organisation.
This role will play a key part in managing supply chain activities across purchasing, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners, you will ensure materials and products are available when required while optimising inventory levels, improving delivery performance, and supporting business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Manage purchasing activities including purchase orders, supplier communication, delivery tracking, and issue resolutionDevelop and maintain supply, inventory, and demand plans to support customer requirementsMonitor supplier performance and work collaboratively to resolve supply constraints and risksAnalyse forecasts, inventory levels, and material requirements to ensure optimal stock availabilityManage ERP planning systems, including SAP, to maintain accurate supply chain dataSupport inventory optimisation initiatives including reducing excess stock and improving replenishment strategiesCoordinate with internal teams including sales, operations, logistics,



and procurement to improve supply chain outcomesIdentify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesMonitor key supply chain metrics including delivery performance, inventory levels, and cost improvementsAbout You:You will be an experienced supply chain qualified with a strong understanding of planning, purchasing, and inventory management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.To be successful, you will have:5+ years' experience in supply chain planning, procurement, purchasing, or materials managementStrong SAP experience (essential)Experience with forecasting, MRP, inventory management, and supply planning processesAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilityProven ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve supply issuesStrong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholdersA proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem solvingThis is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional looking to join a stable organisation where you can make a genuine impact across planning, procurement, and operational performance.
