We're looking for an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to take ownership of our wholesale distribution — from sourcing trusted partners through to storage, inventory control and outward distribution.
You'll balance cost efficiency with service reliability, ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time, while leading a team responsible for delivering it.This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on both strategic planning and day‐to‐day operational control.Key ResponsibilitiesDetermine, implement and monitor storage and distribution strategies, policies and plansPrepare and implement plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum costNegotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirementsMonitor and review storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levelsOperate recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, ensuring receipting and re‐stocking occur at optimal timesLiaise with other departments and customers regarding requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding/transportation arrangementsOversee the accurate recording of receipting, storage and distribution transactionsDirect staff activities,



set performance expectations and monitor team performance through tracking of KPI's.Ensure the timely provision of products and services to meet customer and client requirementsIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce cost, waste and lead timesEnsure compliance with relevant workplace health and safety, and regulatory requirements across warehousing and logistics operationsManage relationships with key suppliers, freight and logistics partnersReport on stock levels and budget variances to senior managementAbout YouProven experience in a supply chain,, distribution or logistics management roleStrong negotiation skills with a track record of managing supplier contracts and relationshipsSolid understanding of inventory management and stock control systems (ERP/WMS experience highly regarded)Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience directing and developing a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a focus on cost control and efficiencyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable liaising across departments and with external customersHigh attention to detail and robust organisational skillsRelevant qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
