We're excited to be on the lookout for a Financial Planning Analyst to join our team.
In this role you'll provide ongoing support to Sony management with quality data & analysis, in order to help them make better-informed, accurate and data-driven strategic business decisions.About the role:Focus on financial modelling and analysis by working with various departments in the organization.Develop an on-going user self-service framework that effectively manages source data currently coming from a variety of systems.Manage monthly forecast, yearly budget cycle by clearly communicating requirements and timeline.Work closely with IT team to develop and maintain necessary systems and reporting tools.Work continuously on quality assurance and maintenance of Financial & operational data.Identify and learn new/existing data & reporting technologies in the market to apply to the business where applicable.Be a Business Super User various system.About you:Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably with a major in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or StatisticsAdvanced Excel skillsProficiency in ERP and data warehouse systems.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, while maintaining a versatile approach to work and a passion for learning & growthHigh attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability and initiative.Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of financial accounting and reconciliation processesPrior financial analysis experience in CE, FMCG, or Retail/Wholesale preferred but not essentialSony is proud to offerSony is proud to offer an exciting work environment with ongoing training and opportunities to grow and invest in your career.
