We are currently supporting a US-headquartered design, engineering and construction management firm with its expansion across Australia.The business is looking to appoint a Construction Manager with experience delivering data centre, mission-critical or technically complex construction projects.The successful candidate will take responsibility for in office delivery, contractor coordination, programme management, quality and safety throughout the construction phase.Key responsibilities:Manage day-to-day construction activities across major project workstreamsCoordinate principal contractors, subcontractors, consultants and vendorsMonitor project schedules, construction progress and key milestonesEnsure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with design requirementsReview construction documentation, method statements and installation plansLead site meetings and communicate progress to project stakeholdersIdentify and resolve construction, design and sequencing issuesSupport quality inspections, testing,



commissioning and project close-outMaintain accurate reporting across programme, risk, cost and delivery performanceWhat we are looking for:Construction management experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities or complex commercial projectsStrong understanding of MEP-intensive construction environmentsExperience managing contractors, site teams and multiple project stakeholdersAbility to interpret construction drawings, programmes and technical documentationStrong knowledge of site safety, quality assurance and construction sequencingConfident communication and leadership skillsA relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, building or a related disciplineThis position offers the opportunity to work with an international business delivering highly technical projects within Australia's growing data centre market.
