The clinic aims to provide an extensive range of examinations and procedures, giving you the opportunity to use your existing skills across general ultrasound, MSK, women's imaging, obstetric imaging and procedural work.Radiologists are available on site, creating a supportive clinical environment where cases can be discussed directly and decisions made efficiently.
You will still have the autonomy expected of an experienced practitioner while benefiting from accessible specialist input when required.Your responsibilities will include:Performing accurate,
high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinationsWorking across a varied private-practice patient and referral baseSupporting ultrasound-guided procedures within your existing scopeProducing clear worksheets and communicating relevant clinical findingsCollaborating closely with radiologists and the wider imaging teamMaintaining excellent standards of patient safety, dignity and careContributing to efficient workflows and a positive clinic environmentAbout youThis opportunity will suit an established Sonographer who can confidently manage a varied workload without supervised development.You will require:A recognised postgraduate qualification in medical sonographyCurrent accreditation with the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation RegistryStrong general ultrasound experience in a private-practice environmentDemonstrated capability across a broad range of examinationsExperience in MSK, women's imaging, obstetrics or ultrasound-guided proceduresSound clinical judgement and consistently high imaging standardsClear communication and a calm, patient-centred mannerAustralian working rights without employer sponsorshipCandidates who can contribute across several ultrasound specialities will be particularly well suited to this position.Why consider this opportunity?
