A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, with complex greenfield delivery requiring integrated schedule management across design, procurement, civil, station, systems and commissioning disciplines.
The head contractor is seeking a Lead Planner to own schedule development, management and reporting for the greenfield delivery scope.

systems and commissioning activitiesPerform critical-path analysis and identify schedule risks and opportunitiesSupport schedule-related aspects of change control and variation assessmentProduce schedule reports and progress tracking information for leadershipFacilitate planning workshops with senior delivery personnelMonitor schedule performance and forecast project completionSupport resource planning and levelling activitiesCoordinate with procurement, design and construction teams on schedulingMaintain schedule documentation and audit trailWhat We're Looking ForDegree or diploma in engineering, construction management, project controls or related discipline10+ years' planning experience on infrastructure or complex construction programsAt least one program of $100m+ in valueAdvanced Primavera P6 expertise (must be named on CV)Critical-path analysis and schedule management experienceIntegration of multi-discipline schedules across design, procurement and construction2+ years' average tenure per employer with at least one planning role held for 3+ yearsExperience leading planning workshops with senior delivery personnelProgress measurement and earned value analysis capabilityStrong communication and problem-solving skills
