National Procurement and Purchasing ManagerGulli Food Distributors is entering an exciting phase of national growth, and we're seeking an experienced National Procurement & Purchasing Manager to lead and elevate our procurement function across Australia.Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for the strategic leadership, governance, and day‐to‐day execution of procurement and purchasing across our multi‐site operation.
You'll play a critical role in driving cost efficiency, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring reliable supply to support our continued growth.About the RoleThis is a hands‐on, senior leadership role with national impact.You will:Develop and implement a national procurement strategy, policies, and governance frameworksLead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and commercial agreementsOwn end‐to‐end purchasing operations, including imports and lead‐time managementDrive cost savings, margin improvement, and working capital efficiencyPartner closely with Distribution, Sales, Finance, and Operations teamsStrengthen inventory optimisation, availability, and supply continuityIdentify and mitigate supply chain and supplier riskLead, coach,



and develop a high‐performing procurement and purchasing teamAbout YouYou're a commercially minded procurement leader who thrives in rapid‐moving environments and knows how to balance strategy with execution.You will have:8–12+ years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain rolesProven experience in national or multi‐site procurement environmentsStrong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and negotiationExperience with imports, offshore suppliers, and lead‐time managementStrong commercial and financial acumenConfidence leading people, holding standards, and driving accountabilityERP / MRP systems experience and data‐driven decision makingA proactive, organised, and outcomes‐focused approachWhy Join Gulli Food Distributors?
