Operations Area Manager - Work for a Major Online Retailer!
We are on the hunt for an experienced Operations Area Manager to join our client, the World's largest online retailer, at their Jandakot Customer Fulfillment Centre.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain or large-scale Retail Manager who loves leading people, improving processes and delivering results in a high-volume environment.The Role:As an Operations Area Manager, you will take ownership of a key area within the Fulfillment Centre, which may include Receive, Stow, Pick, Pack or Ship.You will be responsible for:Leading and developing a team of Operations Section Managers and their direct reportsCoaching, mentoring and motivating your team to achieve operational goalsMaintaining high Health and Safety standards and promoting a solid safety culture onsiteDeveloping performance goals and objectives to ensure customer expectations are metReviewing work forecasts and determining daily production requirementsCollaborating with support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance and Human ResourcesPartnering with the wider management team to establish and maintain quality control standardsIdentifying operational challenges, analysing root causes and driving process improvementsManaging performance and ensuring your team remains engaged,



productive and focused on resultsThis is a 12-month fixed term contract, reviewed every 3 months.You will work a 4 days on, 3 days off roster, which will include at least one weekend day.The Person:We are looking for someone who is:A natural leader who knows how to motivate and develop peopleCustomer focused and results drivenExperienced within Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or large-scale Retail ManagementExperienced in directly managing employees and their performanceComfortable leading sizable teams in a fast-paced environmentA strong problem solver with excellent analytical skillsConfident diving deep into operational issues and finding practical solutionsAn excellent verbal and written communicatorExperienced in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve performanceWhat we offer:12-month fixed term prospect with the opportunity to possibly extend!
