Community Care LinkWestern Sydney & Eastern Sydney, NSWIndependent Contractor | Flexible AvailabilityCommunity Care LinkWestern Sydney & Eastern Sydney, NSWIndependent Contractor | Versatile AvailabilityAbout the OpportunityCommunity Care Link is seeking Speech Pathologists to join our growing allied health network and provide services to NDIS and aged care clients across Western and Eastern Sydney.We are looking for clinicians who enjoy working autonomously and want the flexibility to take on clients around their existing professional and personal commitments.This is an independent contractor opportunity with no set days or minimum weekly hours.
You determine your own availability, preferred service areas and the number of referrals you have capacity to accept.Whether you are an established sole trader, currently working elsewhere, operating your own practice, or simply looking to build an additional caseload, we can provide referrals that fit around your availability.How It WorksYou tell Community Care Link:When you are availableWhether you would prefer Western Sydney, Eastern Sydney, or bothThe suburbs and areas you are willing to travel toThe types of clients and referrals you have capacity to acceptOur team will then identify suitable referrals and liaise directly with clients to coordinate appointments around the availability you have provided.Many of our clients come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, so Community Care Link manages the initial client communication and appointment coordination, allowing you to focus on delivering the clinical service.About the RoleAs a Speech Pathologist contractor, you will provide individualised,



evidence-based services to NDIS participants and aged care clients within their homes and community settings.Depending on your experience and the needs of the clients you accept, services may include:Speech, language and communication assessmentsDevelopment and implementation of individualised therapy plansCommunication and language interventionsAssessment and support for swallowing and mealtime needs, where within your scope of practiceAugmentative and Alternative Communication assessments and recommendationsCapacity-building strategiesClient, family and carer educationPreparation of clinical reports, progress notes and recommendationsCollaboration with families, carers, support coordinators, care managers and other allied health professionalsWhy Work With Community Care Link?
Our contractor model is designed to provide flexibility while reducing the administrative work involved in sourcing and coordinating clients.You will have:No set working daysNo minimum weekly hoursFreedom to determine your own availabilityAbility to accept referrals according to your capacityChoice of Western Sydney, Eastern Sydney, or bothNDIS and aged care client referrals provided by Community Care LinkClient appointment coordination handled by our teamSupport communicating with culturally and linguistically diverse clientsFlexibility to work around an existing role, private practice or contractor caseloadCommunity-based work rather than a fixed office scheduleAbout YouWe are looking for Speech Pathologists who are professional,



client-focused and comfortable providing services autonomously within the community.You will require:A recognised qualification in Speech PathologyCurrent Speech Pathology Australia membership or eligibility, as applicable to the services being deliveredExperience or an interest in working with NDIS and/or aged care clientsStrong assessment, intervention and clinical report-writing skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently within community settingsCurrent Australian driver's licence and reliable transportNational Police CheckWorking with Children Check, where applicableProfessional Indemnity and Public Liability InsuranceABN and ability to invoice for services providedExperience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities would be highly regarded.Service AreasWe are currently particularly interested in Speech Pathologists who can provide services across:Western Sydney – including Blacktown, Parramatta, Fairfield, Liverpool and surrounding areas.Eastern Sydney – including the Eastern Suburbs and surrounding areas.You are not required to service both regions.
You can nominate the suburbs and geographical areas that suit you.About Community Care LinkCommunity Care Link provides allied health and community-based services to NDI participants and aged care clients across Sydney.We work with a diverse client base and aim to connect clients with experienced allied health professionals who can provide personalised, responsive and culturally appropriate support.Our contractor model allows clinicians to maintain control over their availability and caseload while Community Care Link assists with referrals, client communication and appointment coordination.
