Many of our team started in this role and are now in leadership.YOUR ROLEWe are currently seeking a Facility Administrator to join our team and provide essential administrative and site support across our facility.This is an initial 12-month fixed-term prospect, with the possibility of becoming ongoing.
You'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site, supporting employees, visitors,
contractors and key stakeholders.Based on the Edinburgh base, on Kaurna land, your role purpose will beProvide general administration and clerical supportCoordinate visitor, contractor and site access requirementsMaintain site induction and training recordsPrepare reports, correspondence and other site documentationManage maintenance requests, stocktakes and site recordsMonitor site access and support EDA entry requirementsRespond to enquiries and provide support to employees, contractors and stakeholdersYour ExperienceStrong organisation and time management skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and business systemsDefence or regulated environment experience (desirable) with an existing Defence NV1 security clearancePrior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and depending on the role type, medical checks as well.A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.Additional information with regards to clearances is available from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website AGSVA/.
