Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living assistance.We are currently looking to fill 1 permanent part time position.
You must be available for all shifts listed below:Week 1Tuesday 2pm to 8pmWednesday 6am to 10amThursday 6am to 10amFriday 6am to 10amWeek 2Monday 6am to 10amTuesday 6am to 2pmWednesday 6am to 10amFriday 6am to 10amSunday 6am to 2pm*Please Note: It is important to understand that our clients' needs, and their support plans can change which also means that our roster lines may change and will be confirmed at the time of offer.Key ResponsibilitiesHigh Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDPA)Work within a high medical property, providing medication assistance, personal care, complex bowel supportWheelchair assistanceSupport clients who mainly enjoy spending time in the comfort of their own homeTrack and document the changing needs of clients through thorough record-keepingBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and your teamAdvocate for client choice and control in a way that is protected and compliantSkills & ExperienceAn unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle is requiredDemonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktopA current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.Pay rates starting from $***** as per the SCHADS AwardEnjoy salary packaging on everyday living expenses (including mortgage, rent and bills)An opportunity to work for one of Australia's largest social purpose organisationsFor any other enquiries, contact Caprisse Reid at .
