Acubis is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Telecommunications Technician to join us in January ****.
This is an exciting opportunity to complete an ICT***** Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology through a two-year apprenticeship while gaining valuable hands‐on experience working alongside experienced technicians on a range of telecommunications infrastructure and operational technology projects.
As you progress through your studies, you will develop practical skills, industry knowledge, and real‐world experience supporting the delivery of critical communications and technology solutions.
What You'll Learn
As an Apprentice Telecommunications Technician, you'll receive on‐the‐job training and mentoring from experienced industry professionals while developing skills in:
Designing and configuring IP networksInstalling and maintaining radio communication systemsCCTV installation and maintenanceWireless network installation and configurationNetwork fault finding and troubleshootingConducting RF (Radio Frequency) site surveysCommissioning and testing new installationsWorking with engineering and project teams to deliver technical solutionsSupporting customers and resolving technical issues
We're looking for someone who is:

Essential Requirements
Completed Year 10, Year 12 or equivalentCommitted to completing a Certificate III apprenticeshipInterested in site-based work and working in a range of environmentsAccess to reliable personal transportation and current manual driver's licenceAustralian working rightsResides in Mackay region
