Assist with daily food preparation (washing, cutting, basic prep work).
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, benches, equipment and storage areas.Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health & safety procedures.Support chefs during food service by assisting with plating and ingredient restocking.Assist with receiving, checking and storing deliveries.Perform general back-of-house duties as required to ensure smooth kitchen operations.RequirementsAvailability for at least 2 days per week.Currently studying or have completed a qualification in Hospitality or a related field (preferred).
Robust communication skills and a positive team attitude.Willing to learn, reliable and committed to building a career in hospitality.Must have working eligibility in Australia (subclass 500 and 485 accepted).
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.
