Yard Hand - Mackay, QLDWe are currently seeking a Yard Hand to join our client's operations team in Mackay.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, production, or machine operating experience who is looking for a hands-on role in a safety-focused environment.Some Saturday work may be required.The RoleIn this position, you will play a key part in daily operations, ensuring products are filled, checked, and delivered safely and on time.
Your work will directly support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.Key responsibilities include:Performing pre-trip checks and vehicle condition reportsFilling cylinders according to daily ordersOperating test stations as requiredSorting, inspecting, and labelling cylinders to meet safety and quality standardsLoading pallets and trucks for delivery to branches, depots,



and customer sitesCompleting required paperwork and documentation accuratelyParticipating in training sessions and team activitiesSupporting general warehouse and production duties as neededWe're Looking for Someone Who Brings:Current HR Driver's Licence (essential)Current Forklift Licence with at least 6 months' experienceExperience in a safety-focused industrial, production, or warehouse environmentKnowledge of dangerous goods handling, storage, or transport (preferred)Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standardsGood communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to follow procedures accuratelyA reliable, disciplined, and team-focused approachIf you're looking for a hands-on operational role with a strong safety culture and steady hours, this could be a outstanding fit.
