Chullora Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Bankstown, NSW on a full time basis.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy, assisting with dispensing, customer service, and maintaining our high standards of patient care and safety.What you'll be doingAssisting pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications to customersReceiving and processing prescriptions accurately and efficientlyManaging inventory, stock rotation, and ordering of pharmacy supplies and productsMaintaining detailed records of dispensed medications in compliance with legal requirementsProviding friendly and professional customer service, answering queries about over-the-counter products and general health informationProcessing customer payments and managing the till accuratelyCleaning and maintaining the pharmacy workspace and dispensary areas to the highest standardsSupporting the pharmacist with administrative tasks including filing, labelling, and packagingAdhering to all pharmacy legislation, regulations, and professional standardsAssisting with minor ailments consultations when appropriate under pharmacist supervisionWhat we're looking forA relevant pharmacy qualification or vocational training in pharmacy assistanceStrong attention to detail with excellent numeracy and literacy skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to customer serviceAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracyStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy legislationPrevious retail or healthcare experience is advantageousReliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude towards continuous learningPlus having arabic language is an advantage.What we offerAt Chullora Pharmacy, we are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace where our team members can thrive.
