Oasis Radiology is seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiology Receptionist to join our team on a full-time or Part-time basis at our new clinic in Brisbane, Redbank Plains, QLD location.
This is a vital front-of-house position that serves as the first point of contact for our patients and plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
As a Radiology Receptionist, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and supporting our clinical team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
This role is essential to maintaining patient satisfaction and the efficient functioning of our medical imaging facility.Key responsibilitiesGreeting and welcoming patients in a professional and compassionate manner upon arrival at the facilityManaging patient check-in procedures, including verifying personal details, insurance information and referral documentationScheduling and coordinating imaging appointments, ensuring optimal utilisation of equipment and staff timeAnswering telephone enquiries and responding to patient requests in a timely and courteous mannerMaintaining accurate and organised patient records and administrative files in accordance with privacy legislationProcessing patient payments and managing billing enquiriesAssisting patients with completion of necessary forms and providing transparent information about imaging proceduresLiaising between patients, referring doctors, and clinical staff to ensure seamless communicationManaging appointment reminders and follow-up communications with patientsPerforming general administrative duties including data entry, filing and photocopyingSupporting the clinical team with facility operations as requiredWhat we're looking forProven experience working in a medical reception or healthcare setting, preferably in a diagnostic imaging or radiology environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients,
