Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator | Brisbane West RegionAt School Plus, our Brisbane West educators have a dedicated home base service at either Darra, Serviceton, Corinda, Amberley or Graceville - a core team where you'll build real relationships with children, families and colleagues — plus the prospect to support other services across the region when needed.
It's a setup that suits people who thrive on connection and variety.About the roleYou'll work with school-aged children (5–12 years) in Before and After School Care, and occasionally Vacation Care, within a dedicated home base service in Brisbane West (Darra, Serviceton, Corinda, Amberley or Graceville) -giving you the chance to build genuine, lasting relationships with children, families and your team, with the flexibility to support other services across the region when needed.Day to day, you'll:Uphold child safety and wellbeing as your first priority in every interaction, in line with our Child Safe Standards and National Quality Framework (NQF) obligationsMaintain safe supervision and correct educator-to-child ratios at all timesBuild trusted relationships with children, supporting their confidence, independence and sense of belongingCollaborate with your team on programming and planning engaging, age-appropriate activitiesCommunicate professionally with families, maintaining confidentiality and a duty of careComplete mandatory child protection and safeguarding training,
