AmSpec Australia is a market leader in providing Terminal and Jetty Manning Services to the Oil & Gas industryPositionavailable:We are seeking Casual Wharf Attendants to strengthen our existing work team in Geelong.Casual shift positions will include various day, night, weekend shifts and occasional public holidays based on shipping movements and requirements.Primary Responsibilities:Wharf Attendants are responsible for safe monitoring of ship loading and discharging of petroleum and chemical products.
Other responsibilities include:Communicate with the vessels and terminal via radioWharf line walks and safety checksConnect/disconnect loading arm and transfer hosesComplete product sampling and basic product testingMust have a positive attitudeReliable,



punctual and able to work with minimal supervisionMust be adaptable to work across day shifts, night shifts, weekend shifts and occasional public holiday shiftsValid Australian Driver's LicenseMSIC card (or willingness to obtain)Must have the right to live and work in AustraliaBe able and willing to work outdoors during adverse weather conditionsFit and able to climb vessel gangways, stairs, ladders, etc.High Risk License such as Forklift or Dogman/Rigger would be an advantage
