Our business is growing, and we are looking for a motivated 1st Year Apprentice Plumber to join our team.
At Prence Plumbing Service, we are committed to developing our apprentices into highly skilled licensed plumbers.

We are seeking a motivated, reliable and hardworking individual with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in the plumbing industry.
No previous plumbing experience is required—we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
About the Role As a First-Year Apprentice Plumber, you will work alongside our qualified plumbers and experienced team leaders while completing your apprenticeship.
You will gain hands‐on experience across a wide variety of plumbing disciplines including: Residential construction Commercial construction Renovations Drainage and sewer work Stormwater installations Roofing and rainwater systems Hot water services Your duties will include:



Assisting qualified plumbers with installations and repairs Learning to safely use plumbing tools and equipment Carrying materials and preparing work areas Excavation and trenching Measuring, cutting and assembling pipework Maintaining a clean and safe worksite Loading and unloading vehicles Learning Australian plumbing standards and industry best practices Attending TAFE and completing apprenticeship requirements What We Offer Above award wages, negotiable based on experience Weekly pay Overtime and weekend rates where applicable Work clothing provided Support from experienced plumbers and team leaders Support with Tafe requirements Variety of work across maintenance, residential, commercial and construction projects Room to grow within the business as we continue to expand Supportive family-owned business A strong team environment with social events and a good sense of humour What We're Looking For White card (or willingness to obtain before commencing) Eligibility to work in Australia Honest, reliable, punctual and trustworthy Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Positive communication skills with clients, builders and team members Ability to work in a team Basic hand tool experience (desirable but not essential) Experience in residential construction and maintenance would be an advantage About Prence Plumbing Service Prence Plumbing Service has been operating for over 50 years and has built a strong reputation for dependable service, quality workmanship and professional plumbing solutions.
