In this role you will help transform our assurance approach from point-in-time reviews to continuous automated monitoring of critical controls.
You will design, build and maintain automated assurance tests, conduct risk and controls assurance reviews, and work closely with colleagues across technology, data and risk teams.
You will also share data-driven insights with stakeholders and support actions that strengthen control effectiveness and risk management outcomes.What you offerExperience in automated controls assurance, external audit, risk governance or operational risk management within financial services.Strong understanding of risk and controls assurance frameworks and the practical application of risk management principles in a complex banking and wealth management environment.Experience designing, developing and maintaining automated monitoring solutions using tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, Tableau or Power BI.Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, influence stakeholders and support change across a large organisation.Experience working with automated control testing and continuous monitoring approaches; exposure to AI-driven control testing is desirable.What we offerAt Macquarie,
