DRA's teams have deep expertise in the mining, minerals and metals processing industries, as well as related non-process infrastructure such as water and energy solutions.DRA covers all major mining centres with offices across Africa and the Middle East, North and South America, and Asia-Pacific.The RoleWe currently have an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate Electrical Engineer to join our Brisbane based engineering team on a Casual or vacation employment basis.Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will gain exposure to the design and delivery of electrical systems for mineral processing projects while developing your technical skills and industry knowledge.
This role provides the prospect to work alongside multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a range of engineering studies and projects.Key DutiesAssist with the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, communications and control systemsSupport engineers in preparing electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentationAssist with engineering calculations including equipment sizing, load calculations and voltage drop assessmentsContribute to technical studies, research activities and project investigationsWork collaboratively with electrical engineers,
