Working across the Adelaide University campus, you'll spend your shift on the move, engaging with the community and helping keep parking areas safe, accessible and compliant.The RoleAs an Orikan Parking Officer, you'll play an important role in supporting parking compliance and promoting a positive campus experience.Responsibilities IncludePatrolling designated areas to monitor parking complianceIssuing infringement notices in accordance with South Australian Road rules and University by-lawsProviding information and guidance to students, staff and visitors regarding parking requirementsMaintaining accurate records and enforcement logsReporting hazards, incidents and public safety concernsRepresenting Orikan and the University with professionalism,



integrity and respectDesired Skills And ExperienceWe're seeking reliable and self‐motivated individuals who can balance customer service with confidence and professionalism.What We're Looking ForStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA fair and respectful approach when interacting with the publicStrong technology skills and confidence using mobile devices, apps and digital systems in a quick‐paced field environmentResilience and confidence in challenging situationsExcellent time management and attention to detailBasic computer skills and accurate record‐keepingA willingness to work independently outdoors in various weather conditionsCurrent driver's licence (preferred, depending on operational requirements)Customer service, security or compliance experience is advantageous but not essentialHours & FlexibilityMonday to Friday shifts typically commencing at 6:30am, finishing between 11:30am and 12:30pmAvailability to work weekends when requiredAdditional shifts may become available during peak periodsWeekend and applicable shift allowances applyWhat You'll ReceiveComprehensive training and ongoing supportSupportive and inclusive team environmentUniform and equipment providedCasual flexibility with regular rostered opportunitiesOpportunities to work across a respected university environmentEligibility & Pre-Employment ChecksAustralian Citizen or Permanent Resident working rights are required for the roleNational Police CheckWorking with Children CheckPre-Employment Medical (for progressed applicants)Professional working references
