About Us
For more than 25 years, Mead Physio Group has supported the health and wellbeing of the Perth Hills community.
Based in Kalamunda, we are a well-established practice known for quality care, strong community connections and a team-oriented team culture.
Our multidisciplinary team includes sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapists, women's health and pelvic health physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and remedial massage therapists.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced locum physiotherapist to join our team as soon as possible, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
This is a part-time contract position, with working days and hours to be discussed based on availability.
The locum period is expected to continue until approximately the end of October ****, with the possibility of extension or a permanent position for the right person.
You will provide high-quality, patient-centered physiotherapy across a diverse musculoskeletal caseload, with the support of an experienced clinical and administrative team.
Flexible working hours can be discussed.
What you will be doing?
Assessing and treating musculoskeletal, sports and rehabilitation clients
Developing clear, evidence-informed treatment and rehabilitation plans
Delivering high-quality, hands-on physiotherapy tailored to each patient's needs
Maintaining accurate clinical notes and communicating effectively with clients and referrers
Working collaboratively with our wider allied health team
Contributing positively to a friendly, skilled and patient-focused clinic environment
About you
This position is not suitable for new graduates.
You will be an experienced clinician who is comfortable managing a caseload with a high level of autonomy.
Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy)
Current skilled indemnity insurance
Current registration with AHPRA
Demonstrated experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and manual therapy
Strong clinical reasoning, communication and interpersonal skills
A warm, empathetic and patient-centered approach
The confidence to work autonomously while also contributing as a team player
Full working rights in Australia (sponsorship is not available for this role)
