About the roleAction Pumps & Irrigation is seeking a Pump Repairs and Shop Hand to join our team in Leongatha, VIC.
This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
You will be responsible for assisting with pump repairs, maintenance, and providing essential support across our workshop and shop environment.
This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in delivering quality service to our customers.
Key responsibilities
Assist with the repair and maintenance of pumps and pump equipment following technical specifications
Support onsite staff with plumbing and pipe works
Perform routine cleaning, testing and quality checks on repaired equipment
Manage workshop organisation, keeping tools, equipment and work areas tidy and safe
Stock shelves and maintain inventory of parts and products in the shop
Assist customers with product selection and provide basic technical advice
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used and time spent on jobs
Comply with all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
Support the team with general administrative and operational tasks as required
What we're looking for
Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly
Mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in pumps and pumping systems
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Strong organisational and time management skills
Reliable, punctual and a team player with a positive attitude




Willingness to learn and develop technical skills on the job
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
A current Australian driver's license is required
Previous workshop or retail experience is advantageous but not essential
