Your roleAs an Independent Occupational Therapist, you will:
Manage and grow your own NDIS participant caseload
Build relationships with Support Coordinators, plan managers, providers, families and participants
Complete functional capacity and occupational therapy assessments within your scope of practice
Develop person-centred therapy plans and recommendations
Deliver occupational therapy interventions in-home, in the community or via telehealth where clinically appropriate
Prepare NDIS reports, progress reports and review documentation
Complete assistive technology and home modification assessments where appropriately qualified and experienced
Provide education and capacity-building support to participants, families and support teams
Complete professional case notes and clinical documentation
Manage your own diary, travel and appointments (CRM Provided)
Maintain AHPRA, NDIS and professional compliance requirements
Deliver safe, evidence-informed and participant-centred services
Who we're looking forWe're seeking occupational therapists who are ambitious, independent and committed to delivering high-quality NDIS supports.
You will ideally have:
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Experience working with NDIS participants or in disability/community practice
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and report writing skills
Understanding of NDIS funding, reasonable and necessary supports and participant goals
Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
Existing referral pathways or confidence to build your own caseload
First Aid & CPR Certificate
ABN with Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check where required
Current Police Check
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Reliable internet, equipment and transport where community visits are undertaken
