Job DescriptionEnvirotech Drilling Multiple Positions Available The position of Driller is an operational role within Envirotech Drilling.
A Driller has an integral role to ensure that the drill rigs, machinery, equipment and other resources are effectively operated to optimise the profitability of the company.

Be co-operative with the client's representative and conform to the client'spolicies and procedures which apply to workers on-site.
Carry out all reasonable requests from the Senior Driller/Operations Manager effectively, efficiently and professionally.
Report any incidents, accidents, injuries as well as potential or actual hazards in the workplace.
Always convey a professional appearanceand attitude.
Always contribute to an ongoing positive workenvironment.
Ensure all company information is kept privateand confidential.
Operational responsibilities: Complete daily pre-start on equipment and carry out basic maintenance on equipment as required.
Perform or assist with preventative maintenance when required.
Operate all equipment at the Driller's console in a safe manner, maintain a clean and organized hazard free rig floor Monitor the borehole/well condition at all times (i.e. depth, flow show, gain / loss, torque, pump pressure, mud weight,



weighton bit and all parameters.
Recognize, interpret and respond to downhole conditions, securethe borehole during an emergencysituation.
Non Destructive Drilling Ensure all team members perform their assigned duties.
Undertake well monitoring, includinginstallation of PVC casing, gravel bentonite and core recovery.
Pack and unpack consumables required for drilling projects.
Ensure vehicles, machines and equipment are clean.
Bore clearance by drill holes using hand auger or non-destructive drilling methods.
Load and unload drill rods and assisting with loading and unloading of drill rig from rig carrier.
Spot and guide equipment movements.
Maintain and supply the correctlengths of drill rods.
Clean and grease drill rod threads to ensure they are ready for use.
Ensure all equipment is refuelled at the end of each shift.
Ensure the drill site is clean and tidy at all times togetherwith all rubbishback loaded to the support vehicle.
Keep a record of all equipment and reporting missing and damaged equipment to Management.
Set up barricade and erect signage as required to make work area safe.
If you are driving the support vehicle,



you are responsible for ensuring all equipment and tools are accounted for when leavingfor a site and returning back to the office/workshop.
Comply with the company vehicle usage policy and maintaining a current driver's license while employed at Envirotech Drilling.
Other reasonable tasks and activities within your capabilities outside of those listed in this Position Description, from time to time.
Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Performance Health and Safety: Complete safety requirements including Pre-start, Take 5, JSA/JHA/SWMS, work permits/assessments, ToolboxMeetings and site pre-start meetingsas it pertains to your role and as required.
Undertake trainingas may be provided to protect the health and safety of yourself and others whilst at work.
Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
Use and maintain equipment and clothing where they are provided for the protection of your health and safety at work.
Follow reasonable and lawful instructions, operational procedures designed to protect your health and safety, and the health and safety of others.
Strictly abide by Envirotech Drilling and client fitness for work policies by not placing yourself or others at risk of injury through attending the workplace while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
Environmental: Ensure that all rigs and associated products (coupling/rods etc) are used to their maximum potential.
