Job DescriptionThe Trustee for Zoemount Trust THE PRACTICE We are a medical centre with well-fitted-out facility.
Full-time position (38 hours per week) Patient & staff parking is available.
LOCATION Bakewell, is a busy location, the existing patient base draws from nearby locations, and there is a significant shortage of
General Practitioners across the area.
Advantages The GP will be incharge of his patient billing and share revenue ranging between *****% depending on experience and qualification.
The successful applicant can expect to have a minimum guaranteed income of anything between $****** to $****** plus commissions (depending on experience) as his income from the billings.
Task & responsibilities Provide a range of health services from prevention of illness through to treatment and rehabilitation.
The position requires consultation with other health professional as required and coordinating the ongoing care.
Medical diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases endocrine and metabolic, rental diseases, diseases of the central nervous system.
Surgical procedure – suturing lacerations, incision and drainage of abscess, excision of skin lesions.
Obstetrics and Gynaecology – contraception, pap smears, antenatal care.
Procedural tasks – Vaccination, ECG interpretation, pulmonary,



audiometry.
Orthopaedic – assessment of bony and soft tissue conditions with treatment rehabilitation as appropriate.
Documentation –medico legal, antenatal, insurance, occupational Should be familiar with assessment and management of medical emergencies and common conditions presenting in the Australian
General Practice setting Ability to read ECG, CT scans, X-ray and skills of annulation, intubation, catheterisation and fluid management are important .
Qualification & experience Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Should have a base degree, following by suitable internship, with previous experience in
General Practice.
A CPR Certificate is an advantage.
Appropriate AHPRA registration to practice as a
General Practitioner.
