An Employment Skills Training Facilitator's Day involves:
Facilitating group training sessions to job seekers
Promoting AKG and EST courses
Providing completion reports to the job seekers participating in the program
Understanding the needs of local employers and labour markets
Ensuring high engagement of job seekers to complete the EST training blocks
Identifying job seekers area of interest and assisting them to secure work trials
Connecting job seekers through apprenticeship and traineeship
Identifying issues and working with the host organisation or job seekers to resolve them
Undertaking risk assessment for the job seeker and the host organisation for industry awareness experiences
Key Selection Criteria
Experience in Employment Services is highly regarded
Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office is essential
Effective administration skills and able to demonstrate effective time management skills
Highly organised and able to self-manage day to day tasks appropriately
Capable of handling difficult situations and manage conflict
Demonstrated ability to communicate with a range of diverse people

To be considered you must...
Have full working rights in Australia
Have a current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
