Leading Hand (Carpentry) - Commercial

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful day-to-day management of commercial construction sites, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise all on-site activities
Manage subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour
Maintain strict compliance with WHS and quality requirements
Conduct site meetings and liaise with clients and consultants
Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction
Identify and resolve site issues proactively
Maintain site records and provide regular progress updates
Ensure projects are delivered on time
About You
A hands-on site leader who takes pride in workmanship and enjoys building strong relationships with your team and stakeholders.
Previous experience leading commercial construction projects
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and quality finishes
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site teams
Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety practices




Current Construction White Card
Current Driver Licence
Trade qualification in Carpentry or related field
