This is a
live-in position (fixed-term contract until the end of ****)
, perfect if you're studying or working with flexibility for evening, morning or weekend duties.
You'll become an integral part of our boarders' daily lives and our boarding community, and the rostered schedule means you can blend this role seamlessly with your own commitments.
In the role of Boarding House Supervisor, you will be asked to
provide approximately 12 hours per week of residential supervisory duty –
this is all rostered so there are no surprises, and you can work your duties around your commitments.
In return for your time, we offer you:




Single accommodation (studio room with kitchenette and ensuite) for a full year (cleaned once a week)
We cover all the utility costs (rates, rent, water, power) including internet and Wi-Fi.
On-site catering for all meals during school term time (school ends 26 November ****)- you can use the cooking facilities in the holidays and provide your own food
Free access to the extensive onsite facilities (gym, pool, tennis courts, free parking)

To be considered for this role applicants should:
Hold or be willing to obtain a first aid certificate including CPR
Be willing to complete ABSA Level 1 Boarding/Duty of Care qualification – facilitated once appointed
Be a **** high school graduate minimum
Have a passion and interest in working with and supporting the wellbeing and safety of young people as a mentor and a support person in a supervisory capacity
Experience working or volunteering with children, or be studying a degree related to working with children
All applicants must hold or be eligible to hold a working with children QLD paid blue card and should be prepared to provide a recent criminal history check.
