About the role
Join our kitchen team as a
Kitchen Steward
, helping keep our busy resort kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly.
You'll work alongside our kitchen and food & beverage teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
From washing dishes and kitchen equipment to maintaining back-of-house areas, you'll be an important part of supporting smooth service for our guests.
This casual role offers a varied roster and would suit someone who is reliable, hands-on and enjoys working as part of a fast-paced team.
Duties
Wash and clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment to a high standard
Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen, preparation and back-of-house areas
Clean food preparation equipment, floors and work areas in line with cleaning schedules
Handle, sort, store and distribute food items when required
Dispose of waste appropriately and follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
Skills & experience
Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward,



Kitchen Hand or in a similar role is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a busy environment
Reliable, positive and willing to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and willingness to use initiative
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
