Job Description
Paying between $***** - $*****ph + super Perth CBD location Temp contract position for 6 months with possible extensions
Candidates for this role must have: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering services under the Freedom of Information Act **** and understanding of the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act **** principles Significant experience in information and records management, including the effective use of document management systems
Proven ability to lead, develop, and guide a team of four employees Previous local government experience (Desirable) Key responsibilities will include:
Information Access (Freedom of Information) Coordinate FOI services in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act ****, including planning, search coordination, stakeholder consultation, and preparation of Notices of Decision while providing specialist advice to business areas.
Information Privacy & Data Breach Management Coordinate services under the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act ****, assist with Privacy Impact Assessments and Information Sharing Agreements, and help manage information and data breach responses.
Team Leadership & Governance Provide interim leadership, oversight, and guidance to a team of four employees while maintaining contemporary policies, procedures,



and governance frameworks in line with legislative requirements.
Education & Capability Develop and deliver training and awareness initiatives to build organisational understanding of FOI and Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) obligations for Executive, staff, and elected members.
Continuous Improvement & Advisory Support research and advice on information security risks, controls, and compliance obligations in collaboration with ICT, Legal, and Risk stakeholders to continuously enhance information management practices.
Compliance & Safety Maintain compliant work practices in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and frameworks, ensuring safe work practices in line with
Work Health and Safety requirements.
