The Role
Reporting to the Farm Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day harvesting and haulage operations while leading a small team in the field.
This is a hands-on role combining leadership, machinery operation, planning, safety and maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading daily harvest and haulage operations to meet production targets
Supervising and supporting farm operators and contractors
Operating harvesting machinery and transporting leaf to the distillery
Supporting distillation activities and production reporting
Maintaining equipment, plant and farm infrastructure
Running toolbox talks, safety meetings and ensuring OH&S; compliance
Coordinating contractors, graziers and external stakeholders
About You




Background in agriculture, horticulture or forestry operations preferred
Experience operating farm or harvesting machinery
Mechanical aptitude with basic repairs and maintenance
Proven ability to lead small teams
Robust communication and stakeholder skills
Ability to work autonomously in a rural environment
Current Victorian driver's licence
