We're looking for an experienced
Processing Superintendent
or someone looking for a step up in their career from a Supervisory position to join our Processing Team in the near future.
This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our processing operation alongside maintenance and metallurgy.
What you'll be doing
Leading a team of 4 shift supervisors plus a gold room supervisor and utility crew
Setting expectations and building a crew that can run the plant safely and consistently
Leading day-to-day operations of our processing operation
Coordinating operational tasks during shutdowns and keeping the plant running in normal operation
Pushing improvements to increase safety and/or operational efficiency.
Understanding plant issues and coming up with solutions with the people involved
Being part of the planning and execution of plant upgrades and shutdowns
Providing input into the annual Capital and Operational budget process
What we're looking for
A strong commitment to safety and training
Tertiary qualifications in metallurgy,



chemical engineering or a related field preferred
G1,8 & 9 qualification
Experience in gold processing operations
Strong knowledge of processing circuits and equipment, including troubleshooting and optimisation.
A background leading teams at supervisor or superintendent level
A explicit understanding of throughput, recovery and plant availability
Experience working with maintenance personnel on shutdowns and upgrade work
Confidence managing tailings and working within site environmental requirements
A leadership style that holds people accountable and maintains expected standards
Prior experience with an operation involving heavy mobile machinery (forklifts, loaders, skid steer, excavators) is desirable
Strong time management and problem-solving skills
Solid skills across the Microsoft Suite
