Plumber
to join our team.
We are seeking a motivated, reliable and experienced plumber to work
full-time on The Alfred construction project in Mermaid Beach
.
About the Role
This is a
full-time, site-based position
working directly on the construction of The Alfred.
The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out plumbing works throughout the construction project and working closely with the site management team and other trades to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out plumbing installations, rough-ins, fit-offs and general plumbing works
Working across a high-rise residential construction site
Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
Identifying and rectifying plumbing issues as they arise
Working closely with the Site Manager, construction team and other trades
Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with project requirements
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail




Following all site safety procedures and relevant Australian Standards
Assisting with construction and defect rectification works as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant plumbing trade qualification
Current Queensland plumbing licence
Demonstrated commercial plumbing experience
High-rise construction experience – essential
Current White Card – essential
Previous experience working on large-scale construction sites
Solid understanding of construction site safety requirements
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
Excellent problem-solving skills
Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a construction team
Robust attention to detail and quality workmanship
