The Programs Officer will contribute to the design, management and evaluation of the Grants Program for the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
The key duties of the position include:
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support and promote the NDIS Commission's vision, mission and business objectives and behave in accordance with the APS Values and NDIS Code of Conduct
Undertake grant activities, including drafting grant documents for review by senior staff, advising and assisting in assessment, and supporting grant management
Support embedded evaluation, including analysis, monitoring and review of the Grants Program and associated activities
Perform independent research and analysis, including the preparation of quality learning reports, to support evidence-based decisions
Eligibility
The occupant of the position:
Has a positive and contemporary attitude to people with disability
Has well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with capability to build and maintain productive working relationships with NDIS Commission staff, team members and external stakeholders
Has good conceptual and practical understanding of policy development, policy research work and analysis
Is familiar with grant administration practices,



particularly Commonwealth grants
