We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic
Level 2 Disability Support Workers
to join our team and support participants living in our
NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses
.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting people and wants to continue developing their career within the disability sector.

We will provide you with the training, guidance and support needed to build your skills in key areas including:
Medication Support
Manual Handling
Personal Care
Supporting participants within a Supported Independent Living environment
With support from our experienced team, you will gain the confidence and practical skills required to provide protected, respectful and person-centred support to our participants.

About the role:
As a Level 2 Disability Support Worker, you will support participants living in our NDIS Supported Independent Living homes, assisting them to achieve their goals, maintain independence and live fulfilling lives.
Your responsibilities may include:




Supporting participants with daily living activities and routines
Assisting participants to develop independence and achieve their personal goals
Supporting participants with personal care, medication assistance and daily support needs (with training provided)
Supporting community access, appointments and social activities
Assisting with household tasks including meal preparation, cleaning and laundry
Using safe manual handling techniques when supporting participants
Supporting participants with complex and/or challenging needs
Monitoring participant wellbeing and reporting changes or concerns
Completing accurate progress notes and shift documentation
About you:
We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about supporting people living with disability
Willing to learn and develop new skills
Able to build positive relationships with participants, families and team members
A strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable using technology such as mobile apps for rosters and documentation

What you will need:
A genuine passion for supporting people
Willingness to learn and complete required training
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
Smartphone with internet access
