Job Description
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Concept and detailed electrical power systems designs
Electrical Power Network modelling and studies
Renewable energy systems planning
Commissioning testing supervision
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Essential:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; certified by Engineers Australia
3+ years of experience in similar roles
Experience interpreting specifications, drawings, standards and regulations relating to electric power equipment and use
Experience in Power systems modelling,
Experience in either Power Generation, Power Transmission, Distribution and/or Traction.
Desirable:
Experience in design (studies, drawings and specifications) of electrical power systems
Experience determining arrangements of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, transmission lines and other equipment
Experience in telemetry and control systems
Experience supervising commissioning, operation or maintenance of electrical power systems
Experience organizing and managing resources
Skills:
Self-starter and proactive
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication
Organized and able to meet deadlines.
Skills to co-ordinate design meetings, and work within a client environment alongside other subject matter experts;
