Depot and Plant Coordinator

Coordinate Council's Fleet, Plant and Depot Operations
Coorong District Council is one of South Australia's largest and most diverse councils, covering 8,832 square kilometres and located just one hour from Adelaide.
We are seeking a proactive and organised Depot & Plant Coordinator to coordinate Council's fleet, plant and depot operations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will help ensure Council assets remain safe, compliant, cost-effective and fit for purpose while contributing to continuous improvement across our operations.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating fleet, plant and equipment maintenance and servicing.
Managing fleet compliance, registrations and inspections.
Coordinating contractors and service providers.
Assisting with fleet replacement and asset renewal planning.
Monitoring operational budgets and expenditure.
Managing depot inventory and stores.
Supporting procurement activities and supplier relationships.
Providing reporting and advice on fleet and plant performance.
About You
You will ideally have:
Experience in fleet, plant,



workshop or depot operations.
Robust organisation and coordination skills.
Experience managing contractors and suppliers.
Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Budget monitoring and administrative experience.
A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
