The Role
We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our busy team on a full time basis.
To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Preparing and cooking modern Australian style cuisine
Accurately measuring and preparing meal ingredients
Review quality of dishes during all stages of prep and dishing up
Prepare dishes to meet special dietary requirements
Correct storing of food in temperate controlled areas
Confident to work the grills, ovens, fryers and running a pass
Receive and handle deliveries
Ability to adhere to strict service time frames for functions and events
Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Undertake training as required to stay ahead with industry trends




Assist in providing training to junior kitchen staff
Assist in cleaning
Maximise profitable food revenue
Assist with ordering for kitchen and regular stocktake processes
Maintaining a clean, compliant and efficient kitchen
Who we are looking for:
Recent experience in a medium to large fast paced kitchen
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Confident to assist with Kitchen staff management
Enthusiasm and true dedication to producing superior meals
Great attention to detail, highly organised and able to multi-task
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Available to work weekends, public holidays, day shifts and evening shifts
Own reliable transport
You must have valid working rights in Australia.
