This is a diverse leadership role where no two days will look the same.
From overseeing catering, accommodation and housekeeping to managing staff, coordinating maintenance, monitoring quality and creating a positive experience for residents, you'll be at the heart of camp life.
As Camp Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall functionality and smooth operation of the village, ensuring high standards are maintained across all areas of camp life.

Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing accommodation

Manage staff rosters, timesheets and leave
Coordinate maintenance requirements,
Conduct daily pre-starts and safety inspections,
Work closely with site management to address any operational issues
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, quality control and WHS
Ensuring the kitchen operates within menu and catering budgets.
This is a hands-on role,
so you'll need to be comfortable stepping in and supporting your team wherever required — whether that's assisting in the kitchen, helping with housekeeping, coordinating deliveries or resolving an unexpected issue.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Previous experience as a Camp Manager, Village Manager, Assistant Camp Manager or similar leadership role
Experience managing accommodation and/or commercial kitchen operations
A background in commercial cooking or catering
Experience supervising and motivating small to medium-sized teams
Robust leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills
The ability to remain calm, organised and solutions-focused in a busy environment
Experience with camp or hotel management systems and ordering systems such as SAP
Strong administration and computer skills, including Microsoft Office
A solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements
A hands-on approach and willingness to jump in and support the team when required
C Class Manual Driver's Licence
If you're a strong people leader with a passion for hospitality, high standards and creating a positive camp environment, we'd love to hear from you.
